Starting lineups: Nats vs. Cardinals in Jupiter

JUPITER, Fla. - It’s a quick turnaround for the Nationals from last night’s Grapefruit League opener to this afternoon’s road debut against the Cardinals. Most of the significant names that played last night aren’t making the trip to Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, but Matt Adams and Adam Eaton will both be in the lineup (though Eaton will be the DH after starting in right field last night).

Turner-Throws-Gray-Side-Sidebar.jpgWe’ll get our first look at the Trea Turner-Brian Dozier double play combo, as well as our first look at Victor Robles in center field. Defense up the middle is such a big deal, so it’ll be interesting to see how that trio does working together.

Erick Fedde gets the start, something that may not happen much as the rest of the spring plays out and the Nats’ five projected starters get priority. So here’s an opportunity for the young right-hander to make a positive early statement. Relievers scheduled to appear today include Kyle McGowin, Austin Voth, Koda Glover, Austen Williams and Austin L. Adams.
