Starting lineups: Nats vs. Braves in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - It’s been a busy morning already around here, with the Nationals having just signed veteran lefty Tony Sipp to a one-year contract and having apparently made some cuts from big league camp as well. (Saw at least four guys cleaning out their lockers earlier, but nothing has been officially announced yet.)

There’s also a game to be played this afternoon, with the Braves making the long trek down the turnpike to face their division rivals. Kevin Gausman is today’s starting pitcher, and he’ll be joined by regulars Ronald Acuña Jr., Dansby Swanson and Ozzie Albies.

Corbin-Nats-Logo-Sidebar.jpgPatrick Corbin will be facing that lineup, and it’s the second time the lefty will have faced the Braves this spring. That’s a team he’s going to see plenty of times not just this season but for the next six seasons. Corbin will have plenty of Nats regulars behind him in the field, with the top six of the lineup potentially what we’ll see on opening day.

The whole MASN crew is back in town and will have today’s game on the air. Be sure to tune in live at 1 p.m.
