Enjoy two "Nationals Classics" on MASN HD this week

With football officially behind us until August, our eyes are now focused solely on baseball. That's right, Nationals pitchers and catcher officially report to Viera, Fla., in 16 days. While we patiently await the report date, catch two "Nationals Classics" this week on MASN HD. Jordan-Zimmermann.jpgTuesday, Feb. 3, 7 p.m.: On the last day of the 2014 regular season, Jordan Zimmermann pitched the first no-hitter in Nationals history. Zimmermann issued just one walk and outfielder Steven Souza Jr. kept history intact my making an outrageous leaping grab to secure the milestone. Ian Desmond hit a solo home run as the Nats won 1-0. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 12:30 p.m.: The Nationals made their debut in D.C. during the 2005 season. Even though the team finished with a .500 record, the club was found itself in first place just before the All-Star break. On July 3, 2005, the Nats and Cubs were tied 4-4 in the 12th inning in Chicago when Brian Schneider stepped to the plate and hit the go-ahead home run to give the Nats a 5-4 lead. Joey Eischen was credited with the win, despite blowing the save one inning earlier.
