MASN announces 2015 Nationals broadcast schedule

MASN, the television home of the defending National League East champion Washington Nationals, today announced its Major League Baseball schedule for the 2015 season. Once again, all Nationals games broadcast by MASN will be available in crystal-clear high definition, including the season opener against the New York Mets at Nationals Park on Monday, April 6.

Other highlights of MASN's 2014 Nationals schedule include interleague series against the Baltimore Orioles (July 10-12 and Sept. 21-23), Boston Red Sox (April 13-15), New York Yankees (May 19-20 and June 9-10), Toronto Blue Jays (June 1-3) and Tampa Bay Rays (June 15-16 and June 17-18) of the American League East.

The Nationals will have 91 games air live on MASN and MASN HD, and an additional 70 games will be broadcast on MASN2 and MASN2 HD. One Nationals game is currently scheduled to air on a national network in 2015.

Play-by-play voice Bob Carpenter and color analyst F.P. Santangelo, a major leaguer for seven seasons, will again serve as MASN's primary announce team. Carpenter enters his 10th season in the Nationals broadcast booth, while Santangelo begins his fifth campaign with the network. Dan Kolko returns for a second season as MASN's on-field reporter.

MASN will simulcast 20 Nationals games on WUSA 9 in Washington, D.C., the third year of the partnership between the networks. These MASN simulcasts on WUSA 9 will occur on the Monday, April 6 season opener against the Mets, and other select dates.

A full listing of cable, satellite and fiber optic channel positions will be available at www.MASNsports.com.

Every available regular season Nationals game, and each "Nats Xtra" pregame and postgame show, will be aired in high definition on MASN during the 2015 season. MASN features an all-star talent team and comprehensive online coverage at MASNsports.com.
