MASN giving fans chance to win Jayson Werth NLDS bobblehead from Great Moments in Nationals History series

werth bobblehead.pngWin or go home. That was the situation the Washington Nationals found themselves in on a cool October afternoon at Nationals Park in 2012. Ater three games of the National League Division Series, they had their backs against the wall, down two games to one against the Cardinals.

Heading to the ninth inning in Game 4, both the Nats and their opponent had mustered just one run. With All-Star Lance Lynn on the mound, Jayson Werth stepped in the box for what is now the most well-known at-bat in Nats franchise history.

Called strike. Called strike. Ball. Ball. Foul. Foul. Foul. Foul. Foul. Foul. Ball. Foul.

Werth dug in as Lynn came at him with a 96 mph heater. Werth smacked it out the park for a walk-off homer, giving the Nationals another day of life and sending the crowd of 44,392 into a frenzy.

Now, the Nationals are giving fans the chance to remember the electric moment with a Game 4 walk-off bobblehead. The first 25,000 fans through the gates on Aug. 30 will take home the commemorative souvenir, presented by MASN.

If you can't make the game, you still have the chance to get your hands on a bobblehead! MASN is givng you the chance to win a Werth bobblehead the weekend of Aug. 21-23. Simply text WERTH to 29292, and you're entered! Standard rates apply.
