Werth, Suzuki not in Nats lineup (with Astros lineup)

Jayson Werth is out of the Nationals lineup for tonight's game against the Astros, this after he had complained about some tightness in his legs during last night's contest. Manager Davey Johnson pulled Werth in the eighth inning last night after his veteran outfielder had made it known that his legs were bothering him a bit. Since coming off the disabled list last Thursday, Werth is batting .438 (7-for-16) with an RBI and five walks in five games. Werth was on the DL for nearly three months with a broken left wrist, and likely will need some time to fully get back into game shape. Jesus Flores will be back behind the plate tonight. Johnson has alternated Flores and new catcher Kurt Suzuki in the days since Suzuki joined the Nationals. The Nats will face Astros righty Jordan Lyles tonight. The 22-year-old has posted a 2-8 record and 5.95 ERA so far this season. Ross Detwiler gets the ball for the Nats, looking to follow up his stellar outing last time out, in which he worked seven scoreless innings, dropping his ERA to 3.02.
