Zimmerman to host fifth annual A Night at the Park on June 16

Washington Nationals third baseman Ryan Zimmerman will once again host “A Night at the Park,” presented by MASN Sports at Nationals Park on Monday, June 16. The fifth annual fundraising event for the ziMS Foundation will feature performances by country music stars Billy Currington and Jerrod Niemann. The evening includes an expanded concert experience, powered by Live Nation, along with silent and live auction featuring one-of-a-kind items and experiences. Nationals Park will again be transformed into an intimate concert venue for 6,000 guests, with a custom stage built down the third-base line playing to a limited number of reserved lower bowl and club-level seats. Reserved Lower Bowl tickets start at just $35 and will go on sale Wednesday, May 7 at 12PM ET. Additional ticket options and event details can be found at nationals.com/anightatthepark. CAA Sports, which represents Zimmerman, along with the Washington Nationals and Live Nation are serving as the event organizers. The ziMS Foundation (www.zimsfoundation.org) is dedicated to the treatment and ultimate cure of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) by funding comprehensive support and educational programs. MS is a disease close to Ryan’s heart. In 1995, his mother Cheryl was diagnosed with MS, a chronic and unpredictable disease that affects the central nervous system. In 2013, the ziMS Foundation reached the $1 million mark in funds raised to support MS programs and research.
