Duchscherer officially on disabled list (and more)

SARASOTA, Fla. - Another domino fell in Orioles camp today when they placed pitcher Justin Duchscherer on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left hip. We knew it was coming. Now it's official. Duchscherer threw two innings in yesterday's simulated game against six minor league hitters. The Orioles are hoping that he'll be ready to pitch on April 21 against the Twins at Camden Yards. Here's how the 25-man roster breaks down: Rotation: Jeremy Guthrie Brian Matusz Brad Bergesen Jake Arrieta Chris Tillman (Keep in mind that the Orioles are going with four starters to begin the season, which puts Bergesen or Tillman in the bullpen until April 10.) Bullpen: Kevin Gregg Koji Uehara Michael Gonzalez Jim Johnson Jeremy Accardo Jason Berken Josh Rupe Position players: Derrek Lee Brian Roberts J.J. Hardy Mark Reynolds Matt Wieters Nick Markakis Adam Jones Luke Scott Vladimir Guerrero Reserves: Felix Pie Jake Fox Cesar Izturis Robert Andino Also keep in mind that Zach Britton could be called up later this month. And Craig Tatum isn't expected to be down in Triple-A Norfolk for an extended period.
