Game 22 lineups: Nats at Rockies

DENVER - Left-hander Gio Gonzalez takes to the hill on a getaway day here at Coors Field. The Nationals have an opportunity to go 9-1 on this 10-game road trip with a win today.

It is also Science Day here at Coors Field, with thousands of school children coming through the gates three hours and 40 minutes before first pitch. There is, however, a good chance of precipitation. Snow is in the forecast this weekend in Denver.

The heart of the order lifted the Nationals to last night's 11-4 win, going 12-for-19 with nine runs, three homers and nine RBIs.

Bryce Harper is now hitting .432 on the season and his on-base percentage is an insane .548. Harper is hitting .586 (17-for-29) with six doubles, three homers, nine walks and nine RBIs in the first nine games of this road trip. Daniel Murphy has 12 RBIs over his last three games. Trea Turner is batting .458 (11-for-24) with four doubles, one triple, two homers and 11 RBIs in his past six games. Ryan Zimmerman went 3-for-5 last night, including hitting his eighth homer of the season, but will get the day off today. He didn't hit his eighth homer until May 28 last season.

Gonzalez has pitched at Coors Field only twice in his career, but is 3-0 with a 3.86 ERA in four starts overall against the Rockies.

The Rockies send right-hander Antonio Senzatela (3-0, 2.08 ERA) to the bump.

Anthony Rendon will also get the day off after struggling to just 1-for-9 over the last two games with two strikeouts.
