Good and bad from Norfolk (updated)

Let's start with the good. Nolan Reimold, starting again in left field tonight for Triple-A Norfolk, is 2-for-3 with his 10th home run. He also stole his sixth base, always encouraging news when we recall the Achilles issues that have hounded him since spring training. Reimold is batting .232 with 31 RBIs. Maybe we'll see him in September. I'd like to think he'll be a major part of the 2011 team, but I'd also like to think that I still have a shot at Salma Hayek. The odds on Reimold are much better. Updated: Reimold went 4-for-5 with a double, homer, two RBIs and four runs scored. He's batting .238. Michael Aubrey went 3-for-5 with his 15th homer and three RBIs. He's batting .229. Now the bad. Left-hander Zach Britton allowed five runs and eight hits in 3 2/3 innings, with one walk and five strikeouts. He threw 67 pitches, 43 for strikes, and his ERA is up to 3.57. Britton hasn't completed six innings in his last four starts, though he gave up two earned runs in each of his three previous outings. He hadn't pitched since Aug. 1.
