Guthrie's night

Orioles manager Dave Trembley went to the mound with two outs in the eighth inning. I thought he was taking Jeremy Guthrie with him to the dugout. I'm sure I wasn't alone in that assumption. Trembley stuck with Guthrie, who got the final out and accepted congratulations after his 113th pitch. He allowed one run and two hits, walked one and struck out five. His ERA's down to 4.13. That's beyond impressive. Down on the farm, Single-A Delmarva pounded out 17 hits - with no home runs - in a 10-4 win over Kannapolis. Brian Conley went 4-for-4 with an RBI, run scored and two walks. Tyler Kelly was 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored. Steven Bumbry had two hits and three RBIs. Is Kannapolis the capital of Karyland?
