Lee's first plate appearance (updated twice)

SARASOTA, Fla. - The Orioles didn't waste any time putting Derek Lee in an RBI situation. Lee got his first spring plate appearance in the first inning against Phillies left-hander Cole Hamels after Robert Andino reached on a bunt single and Adam Jones walked. Lee fouled off a pitch and swung through another to fall behind, 0-2. He took a ball while the Orioles executed a double steal, and three more to draw a walk and load the bases with no outs. Vladimir Guerrero followed with a single up the middle to score Andino. Orioles 1, Phillies 0. Mark Reynolds took over the team lead in strikeouts with 14 in 38 at-bats. He was tied with Nick Green and Josh Bell. Update: Nolan Reimold drew a bases-loaded walk with one out. Orioles 2, Phillies 0. Another run scored on Randy Winn's grounder to second. Josh Barfield bobbled the ball before tagging Reimold. Orioles 3, Phillies 0. Update II: John Mayberry Jr. hit his fifth home run this spring, and his second against the Orioles. His two run shot in the second inning reduced the Orioles' lead to 3-2.
