The Orioles have scored four runs for Hernandez in four starts. They had chances to build on a 1-0 lead - Adam Jones reached third base with one out in the sixth - but why change their season-long pattern?

At Triple-A Norfolk, Brad Bergesen gave up a solo homer to Robert Hudson in the fifth inning. He's allowed five hits and thrown 38 of 53 pitches for strikes.
