Orioles activate LHP Zach Britton from 60-day DL and option him to Triple-A Norfolk

The Orioles today announced that they have reinstated LHP Zach Britton from the 60-day disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A Norfolk. Britton was originally placed on the 15-day DL on March 26 with a left shoulder impingement. He made a total of three rehab starts with Double-A Bowie (two games; 1-0, 0.75 ERA, 12.0IP, 8H, ER, 3BB, 11K) and Triple-A Norfolk (one game; 1-0, 6.00 ERA, 6.0IP, 7H, 4ER, 2BB, 2K). To make room for Britton on the 40-man roster, RHP Stu Pomeranz was transferred to the 60-day disabled list.
