Orioles lineup vs. Rays (Beckham to DL)

Jace Peterson is making his Orioles debut tonight as the Orioles begin their series against the Rays at Camden Yards. Peterson is starting at second base and batting ninth.

The Orioles haven't announced the roster move, but Tim Beckham is expected to go on the disabled list.

Trey Mancini is in left field. Chance Sisco is batting second.

He's finally taking the mound at Camden Yards, where he's 3-1 with a 4.62 ERA and 1.541 WHIP in seven career starts.

Brad Miller is 3-for-7 with a double against Cobb.

Rays right-hander Jake Faria has allowed 11 runs and 16 hits over 17 innings in his four starts this season, and he's walked 11 batters.

Faria owns a lifetime 4.09 ERA and 0.955 WHIP in four career games (three starts) against the Orioles. He's surrendered 10 earned runs (11 total) and 18 hits in 22 innings, but he's walked only three batters and struck out 22.

Adam Jones is 4-for-10 with a double and home run against Faria. Mancini is 2-for-8 with a home run and five strikeouts.

Left-handers are batting .172 against Faria in 20 career games. Right-handers are hitting .256.

Mark Trumbo went 0-for-4 today as Double-A Bowie's designated hitter and is 1-for-7 in two games since restarting his rehab assignment.

Update: The Orioles officially announced this afternoon that they have added Peterson to the 25-man roster and placed Beckham on the 10-day disabled list (retroactive to April 24 with a left groin strain).
