Orioles stay with Aramark for 2010

After opening the floor for other food vendors following the 2009 season, it appears that Aramark will be returning as the Orioles' concessionaire for the 2010 season, according to a recent article in the Baltimore Business Journal. The Orioles entertained interest from Centerplate, Deleware North, Levy Restaurants, and Legends Hospitality Management before deciding to stick with Aramark for the 2010 season. This offseason was the first time the Orioles had considered a change to their concessions since Oriole Park at Camden Yards opened in 1992 and came just months after Aramark debuted a new head chef and several new menu items on Opening Day 2009. No further details have been released, but they're sure to follow in the days leading up to the new season, which kicks off at Camden Yards on Friday, April 9.
