Orioles to host Father's Day Catch on the Field on June 17

Fans are invited to participate in Father's Day Catch on the Field, presented by Pennington Grass Seed, on Sunday, June 17, prior to the 1:05 p.m. ET game against the Miami Marlins.

Fans may purchase one of two ticket packages that include a pair of tickets for the Father's Day game and a 25-minute pregame session of catch on the field at Oriole Park. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Prostate Cancer Discovery Fund of the Brady Urological Institute of Johns Hopkins Medicine. Last year, the club's Father's Day Catch on the Field raised $20,000 for the Baltimore Orioles Charitable Foundation.

The first ticket package is available for $250 ($125 for each additional participant) and includes two Left Field Lower Box tickets (sections 80-84), the unique opportunity to play catch on the field for two participants, two soft baseballs, and a donation to the Prostate Cancer Discovery Fund of the Brady Urological Institute of Johns Hopkins Medicine. An upgraded Catch on the Field Package is available for $300 ($150 for each additional participant) and includes two Field Box tickets (sections 56-58), as well as the opportunity to play catch on the field for two participants, two soft baseballs, and a donation to the Prostate Cancer Discovery Fund of the Brady Urological Institute of Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Fans are advised that availability is limited and the event is expected to sell out. To purchase, fans should visit www.orioles.com/catch. Additional online fees apply. All Catch on the Field ticket package buyers will receive an information packet in the mail that will include tickets, important information, and a waiver of liability which must be completed by each participant.

Registration on June 17 for the Father's Day Catch on the Field will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Schaefer Circle, outside of Home Plate Plaza, located at the southwest corner of the ballpark between Gates D & E. Participants must check-in at least 15 minutes prior to their session. In the event of inclement weather, additional information will be communicated.

The Orioles will also celebrate Father's Day with an exclusive giveaway on Sunday, as the first 20,000 fans 18 and over will receive an Orioles necktie.

Father's Day Catch on the Field will be the culminating event to cap off the Orioles' second annual "Have A Catch" campaign week of events. Expanding upon Major League Baseball's successful Play Ball campaign, the "Have A Catch" campaign is designed to encourage children, and fans of all ages, to go outside and enjoy a game of catch.
