Plenty of promotions during the O's next homestand

July was a quiet and lonely month around Camden Yards. If you'd have asked anyone who worked in the Warehouse, they would have told you it felt like "forever since the team has been home" at just about any point during those 31 days. The Orioles were in town for just nine days that entire month, with the All-Star break punctuating the absence of the team and the buzz that goes along with it when they're here in Baltimore. The O's schedule in August isn't quite as extreme, but somehow it still seems like the Birds have been away for a long time again. But they'll be back this Monday as they kick off a seven-game homestand during which they'll host Oakland and LA. As if they anticipated this lull that would come by early August, the Orioles have planned four promotions and three Orioles Alumni Autograph Series during the next seven home games. So if you're missing the Birds and dying to see the new young O's who seemed to be added to the roster by the handful these days, don't miss these promotions coming up at Oriole Park during the next homestand: Monday, August 10: O's vs. A's (7:05 p.m.) - Orioles Alumni Autograph Series Every Monday and Thursday home game at the Yard, a handful of your favorite former Orioles will sign autographs at the MASN Booth on Eutaw Street prior to the game. Don't miss former Orioles Dick Williams, Bill Hunter, and Joe Durham who are slated for this Monday's signing. Tuesday August 11: O's vs. A's (7:05 p.m.) - Brad Bergesen T-Shirt Tuesday Brad-Bergesen-T-Shirt-Tuesday.jpg The first 10,000 fans ages 15 and older will receive an orange Brad Bergesen Orioles T-shirt. Friday, August 14: O's vs. Angels - Fireworks Night & 1989 "Why Not?" Orioles Alumni Autograph Series Prior to the game, members of the 1989 "Why Not?" Orioles team, including former catcher Mickey Tettleton, outfielder Mike Devereaux and pitchers Dave Schmidt and Dave Johnson, will sign autographs from 5:30 to 6:30 at the MASN Booth on Eutaw Street. Also catch Tettleton and Devereaux on the field when they each throw out a ceremonial first pitch before the game. Following the game, a free fireworks display will take place for all fans to enjoy. Saturday, August 15: O's vs. Angels (7:05 p.m.) - 2120 Eutaw Street Game Do you sometimes feel like you're real address is your favorite seat at Camden Yards? Well now you can tell fellow O's fans that you live at 2110 Eutaw Street! A $21 ticket to this Saturday game will earn you a reserved Eutaw Street Bleacher seat and an exclusive "I Live at 2110 Eutaw Street" T-Shirt in honor of the O's two young outfield stars, Nick Markakis and Adam Jones. Markakis and Jones will interact with fans in the special section, and you'll have a chance to take home cool game-used giveaways like a ball tossed your way from Nick Markakis or a home run bat from Adam Jones. Sunday, August 16: O's vs. Angels (1:35 p.m.) - Webkinz Oriole Bird Stuffed Toy Webkinz-Oriole-Bird.jpg The first 10,000 fans ages 14 and younger will receive a free Webkinz Oriole Bird stuffed toy to take home and care for on the Webkinz World website, where fans can virtually interact with their own Oriole Bird "pet" online.
