Upcoming appearances

If you're still not sure what to do with your Thursday night, head to the Hightopps Backstage Grille on York Road in Timonium tonight to meet former Oriole Al Bumbry. Bumbry will be at Hightopps from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. as the O's take on the Minnesota Twins at the new Target Field in Minneapolis. Or, plan ahead and clear your calendar on Monday, May 17 for a Q&A at the ESPN Zone with catcher Matt Wieters from noon to 1:00 p.m. Wieters will answer questions from an O's broadcaster, as well as from fans of Birdland, before sticking around to sign autographs and pose for photos. The ESPN Zone is sure to be a packed house for this one, so reserve your spot early! And finally (for now), former Oriole Chris Hoiles will follow suit with Bumbry when he visits the Hightopps Backstage Grille on Thursday, May 20, also from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. So this time, enjoy a night out with fellow O's fans and former Orioles catcher Chris Holies as the Birds take on the Texas Rangers in Arlington. Stay tuned for more Orioles appearances throughout the summer, and if anyone heads to one of these, check back here to the Orioles Buzz to let us know how it went.
