Updating Orioles pitching (and makeup game)

No updates on Manny Machado and J.J. Hardy. I'm not keeping any secrets. You have my word. It's become obvious that the Orioles will make up tonight's postponed game next month. The club announced its upcoming starters and didn't list anyone for Thursday, which remains an open date on the schedule. Chris Tillman will start Wednesday night's series finale against the Yankees at Camden Yards. Left-hander Wei-Yin Chen is being pushed back to Friday night against the Indians at Progressive Field. Ubaldo Jimenez will face his former team on Saturday, and Kevin Gausman will get the start on Sunday. The Indians are starting Corey Kluber, Carlos Carrasco and T.J. House. Outgoing MLB commissioner Bud Selig, in town for the owners meetings, met with reporters this afternoon at Camden Yards. Selig said the Orioles remain a prime candidate to host the 2016 All-Star Game. It's basically what he's said in the past, just in a different location. Update: Tonight's postponed game between the Orioles and Yankees will be made up as part of a split-admission doubleheader on Friday, Sept. 12 at 1:05 p.m. and 7:05 p.m. Happy birthday to me. Separate admission is required for each game. Tickets for tonight's game marked Aug. 12 will be honored for the 1:05 p.m. game on Sept. 12. Gates for the 1:05 p.m. game will open at 11 a.m. and gates for the 7:05 p.m. game will be announced at the conclusion of the opener. Fans unable to attend the makeup game can exchange their tickets for any remaining home game this season on a "dollar-for-dollar" basis. All exchanges are subject to availability and must be completed by Sept. 5. Complimentary tickets are non-exchangeable. StubHub tickets are also non-exchangeable, but may be resold on StubHub up until 1:00 p.m. on Sept. 12. Stadium parking lots open at 10 a.m. and prepaid parking permits dated for Aug. 12 are valid only for the 1:05 makeup game on Sept. 12. Ticket exchanges may be performed at the box office or submitted in writing along with the original tickets and mailed via certified mail by Sept. 5, 2014 to: Baltimore Orioles Attention: Aug. 12 Rainout 333 West Camden Street Baltimore, MD 21201
