Jason Berken gave up another run in the eighth on Alex Rios' single up the middle that scored Juan Pierre, who singled and advanced on a sac bunt. White Sox 3, Orioles 2. Manager Buck Showalter was rewarded the last time he let Berken return for a second inning after the right-hander struggled, but not on this night. Berken stands to be the loser if the Orioles don't rally. Berken is charged with two runs and four hits in 1 1/3 innings. He's been scored upon in six of his eight appearances since the All-Star break - a total of 10 runs in 11 innings. The Orioles will have to attack the White Sox bullpen, because Floyd is done after seven innings. Left-hander Matt Thornton is replacing him. Koji Uehara is warming in the Orioles' bullpen. Update: Showalter is seeing the other side of the Orioles tonight. Matt Albers is charged with an unearned run in the ninth after Josh Bell's error. Adam Jones also committed an error when he missed the cutoff man as Alexei Ramirez scored on Gordon Beckham's single. All the damage came with two outs.
