Orioles and Yankees lineups

NEW YORK - The Orioles aren’t going to mess with Steve Pearce’s hot streak, as he’s in the starting lineup and batting second for the fifth straight game with a series win on the line against the Yankees this afternoon.

Pearce is batting .500 (8-for-16) with four doubles, two homers, seven RBIs and four walks over the last four games.

With Pearce staying in the No. 2 hole and serving as the designated hitter, third baseman Manny Machado is batting seventh for the fifth straight contest and Nelson Cruz is playing left field.

Caleb Joseph is back behind the plate for the second contest in a row, and will be catching right-hander Chris Tillman, who has tossed two straight quality starts for the first time since April 6-11.
