Game 104 lineups: Nats at Giants

SAN FRANCISCO - After another wild victory last night, the Nationals are back at it this afternoon, trying to make it three in row over the Giants at AT&T Park. They'll be fielding a lineup that's a bit shorthanded, with Daniel Murphy sitting out after tweaking his left leg last night and Wilson Ramos getting a well-deserved day off after catching nine in a row.

Murphy is dealing with tightness in the same leg he injured during the All-Star Game, though Dusty Baker said it's not necessarily in the same location (hamstring) as before. They're being precautionary with this setback, but believe Murphy could pinch-hit today if needed.

Reynaldo Lopez, of course, gets the start, his second in the big leagues. His first included a bunch of fastballs hammered by the Dodgers lineup, but then nine strikeouts, mostly on his offspeed stuff. He'll be working today with catcher Pedro Severino, his batterymate in the minors, so the two should know each other well.

The Nationals still haven't announced a corresponding roster move for Lopez's promotion as of 90 minutes before scheduled first pitch.

"Still trying to figure that out," Baker said, hinting that the decision was coming down to whether to drop a reliever or a position player. Stay tuned...
