Game 105 lineups: Nats at Marlins

MIAMI - The last two times they've played at Marlins Park, the Nationals have seen their starting pitcher carry a no-hitter into at least the eighth inning. What does Max Scherzer have in store tonight?

max-scherzer-gray-sidebar.jpgScherzer, of course, was on the mound for one of those previous no-no attempts, reaching the bottom of the eighth on June 21 before a little chopper over the mound sent the Marlins on their way to a stunning 2-1 victory. Scherzer remained on the mound as that inning devolved, in large part because of the lack of quality options Dusty Baker had in the bullpen to replace him.

That's not the case anymore, with Ryan Madson and Sean Doolittle now on the roster and Brandon Kintzler possibly joining them tonight. (No word yet if the newly acquired right-hander has made it from San Diego to Miami, but stay tuned.)

The Nationals will get their first look tonight at Marlins left-hander Chris O'Grady, who makes his fifth career start. O'Grady was a 10th-round pick of the Angels in 2012, drafted out of George Mason. Now he's teammates with fellow former Patriot Justin Bour (though the latter is currently on the disabled list).
