Game 114 lineups: Nats vs. Braves (Herrera to DL)

As if the sting of Tuesday night's 3-1 loss to the Braves in the second half of their day-night doubleheader wasn't enough, today the Nationals learned they've now lost Kelvin Herrera to a shoulder injury. Herrera, who had an MRI this morning, has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right shoulder impingement. We'll get more details - and, hopefully, an estimated timeline for his return - shortly, but in the meantime the Nationals bullpen has yet another new face: Koda Glover. Yes, the hard-throwing, oft-injured right-hander is healthy again and ready to contribute. And the Nats aren't going to be able to ease Glover in. They're going to need him to pitch significant innings from the get-go.

The Nats also need another quality performance tonight from Tommy Milone, who was very good against the Marlins and Mets and now needs to continue that trend against a much better Atlanta lineup. The journeyman lefty has been very good locating his fastball and not giving up free passes, and that's what he'll have to do to give his team a chance tonight.

The Nationals are going up against All-Star right-hander Mike Foltynewicz, and that means some lineup changes from yesterday's matchups against lefties. Adam Eaton returns to the leadoff spot, and Matt Adams returns to first base, with the red-hot Ryan Zimmerman on the bench but certainly available for a key situation late if needed.
