Game 148 lineups: Nats at Braves

ATLANTA - After a quick turnaround from last night's 7-2 victory, the Nationals are right back at it today with a Saturday matinee against the Braves, looking to move one step closer to the National League East title. The magic number, lest you forget, is currently six. The Mets host the Twins later tonight.

Gio Gonzalez gets the start today, and each of the left-hander's outings right now feels magnified because of his importance to the Nationals' postseason fortunes with Stephen Strasburg out. Gonzalez has struggled against Atlanta this season, giving up 10 runs on 17 hits in 14 2/3 innings. That includes a ragged start only two weeks ago in D.C. when he was knocked out before recording an out in the fourth inning. Of note: Wilson Ramos is getting a well-deserved day off, but it'll be rookie catcher Pedro Severino working with Gonzalez, not veteran backup Jose Lobaton.

The Braves' revolving door of pitchers lands today on Josh Collmenter, previously of the Diamondbacks. We'll see if Trea Turner, Daniel Murphy and Co. can continue to put a hurting on Atlanta pitching the way they have been all season and improve to a remarkable 16-2 against this team in 2016.

A quick reminder that today's game is on FOX. Justin Kutcher and Tom Verducci have the call. Here's a coverage map showing what parts of the country are getting this game. (Warning: You pretty much have to be in the D.C. or Atlanta markets to get it instead of Yankees-Red Sox.) ...
