Game 150 lineups: Nats at Braves

ATLANTA - The week began with a game in Philadelphia that had to be postponed not because it was raining but because it had rained and the infield couldn't be brought back to life in time. It continued with a makeup game in D.C. that the Cubs didn't want to play out of fear of Hurricane Florence (which at that point was centered more than 400 miles south of Washington). And now the week concludes with one more game at SunTrust Park, where the sun mostly shone Friday and Saturday but has now given way to clouds and the threat of rain.

Harper-tightens-gloves-sidebar.jpgIf you want to fully appreciate how slow Florence has moved, here's your evidence: The very outer bands of the storm have just finally reached Atlanta today. Don't worry, though: There doesn't appear to be any serious threat to the Nats-Braves series finale, maybe just a few showers along the way. Given how things looked at the start of the week, we'll take that.

The Nationals are playing for pride at this point, and delayed elimination from the National League East race. They can help their cause with a win today, which would give them this series and actually three straight series victories, all over playoff contenders. No, it doesn't count for much, but it still beats the alternative, right?
