Game 2 lineups: Nats vs. Braves

And we're back. Already. For a doubleheader. Already. Hey, no complaining about anything this season, alright?

It's certainly got to be easier for the Nationals to get right back to work after Tuesday's walk-off win over the Braves in the season opener. Now, they realistically just need to think about winning at least one of today's seven-inning games to win the series against the three-time defending division champs. It's a nice position to be in.

Fedde-Throws-White-vs.-Yankees-Sidebar.jpgIt'll be Erick Fedde on the mound for the opener, with Stephen Strasburg slated to start the nightcap (which starts 45 minutes after completion of Game 1). The right-hander had a decent spring, and he was stretched out to be a starter, so he should be good for at least four and maybe five innings today. Which, in a seven-inning game, should more than suffice.

The bullpen's in pretty good shape after the opener. Davey Martinez used four guys (Kyle Finnegan, Wander Suero, Kyle McGowin and Daniel Hudson) but none threw more than 18 pitches. And Tanner Rainey only warmed up but didn't pitch.
