Game 41 lineups: Nats vs. Mets

NEW YORK - It's rare you get two legitimate marquee pitching matchups in the same series, but the Nationals and Mets are the rare teams with the rotation depth to be able to pull that off. And so two days after Max Scherzer and Noah Syndergaard dueled, Stephen Strasburg and Matt Harvey will attempt to the same in tonight's series finale at Citi Field.

Stephen Strasburg gray sunset.jpgStrasburg, of course, has been outstanding for the Nats so far, becoming the first pitcher in club history to open a season 6-0 and going 12-2 with a 2.23 ERA over his last 21 starts dating to last summer. He's been very good at Citi Field in his career (4-1, 2.17 ERA in six starts).

Harvey, on the other hand, has not been himself so far in 2016. He'll carry a 4.93 ERA into this start, having yet to reach the seventh inning this season and having just been rocked by Colorado for five runs on 11 hits, raising some significant concerns throughout the New York greater metropolitan area.

Can Strasburg keep his hot streak going? Which Harvey will show up tonight. Should be a fascinating game.
