Game 74 lineups: Nats vs. Phillies

So, as you know, it's been raining all day here in town. But as I type this, the rain has mostly halted, and they're currently working on the infield with the tarp off. And the forecast suggests that perhaps they can actually start tonight's game on time, though it probably won't stay dry all evening. In other words ... your guess is as good as mine.

The Nationals are facing the Phillies for only the second time this season, having won 2-of-3 here in May and having not yet even made an appearance at Citizens Bank Park yet in 2018 (that'll come next weekend). They'll face this compelling-if-erratic Philly club hoping to keep some positive offensive momentum going from Thursday night's win over the Orioles. And to that end, Davey Martinez is going with essentially the same lineup, with Bryce Harper leading off and Juan Soto batting cleanup. Daniel Murphy, who came off the bench Thursday, is starting at first base and batting fifth.

Roark-Throws-Patriotic-White-Side.jpgTanner Roark needs to rebound from what he admitted was not a good start at all Sunday in Toronto. He'll try to do that against a Phillies lineup that is batting only .224 so far this month, though it has managed to still average a respectable 4.1 runs per game.
