Game 87 lineups: Nats at Mets

NEW YORK - Hello from Citi Field, where the Nationals close out the first half of the season with a big, four-game weekend series against the Mets. They enter tonight's opener holding a four-game lead, so that means things could go in a lot of different directions. A sweep by the Mets would leave the two teams tied; a sweep by the Nats would increase the lead to a commanding eight games. More likely is a series split or somebody taking three-of-four, making the most plausible spread at the break two, four or six games.

Lucas Giolito gets the ball for tonight's opener, the second start of his career and second against New York. Did the Mets see enough of the 21-year-old during his four-inning, rain-shortened outing last time to get a book on him, or does he still have some tricks up his sleeve? This will be interesting to watch from the outset.

Bartolo Colon, one of the few healthy members of the Mets rotation, will be facing a Nationals lineup that for the second straight day has Daniel Murphy batting third and Bryce Harper batting fourth. He'll also be facing a lineup featuring Clint Robinson at first base, with Ryan Zimmerman getting the night off...
