Lineups: Nats vs. Cardinals in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Hello once again from FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches. It's good to be back after a brief trip home. Thanks as always to Pete Kerzel for filling in during my break. I'll be here the rest of camp, and hopefully things start to ramp up soon as opening day inches closer.

Soto-Rounds-Second-White-WC-Sidebar.jpgThe Nationals, who just enjoyed their first of two days off this spring, are back at it tonight with a lineup loaded with regulars. In fact, this may well give us a clue about Davey Martinez's batting order plans for the regular season. Yes, it's missing Adam Eaton and Victor Robles, each nursing minor injuries. But everyone else is in there, and in an order that seems to jibe with Martinez's long-term thinking. (The key aspect of this combo: Starlin Castro batting third, ahead of Juan Soto and Howie Kendrick.)

Patrick Corbin, meanwhile, is on the mound to make his second start of the spring. His first start came against the Cardinals (two innings of one-run ball on Saturday in Jupiter) and his second start also will come against the Cardinals (though he won't see many regulars because many of them already played earlier today in a split-squad game).
