Starting lineups: Nats vs. Red Sox in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Hello from JetBlue Park, aka "Fenway South," spring training home of the Red Sox. This is my first time here, and I believe that means I've now hit for the Grapefruit League ballpark cycle. (Not sure if that's something I should be proud of or embarrassed by.)

Anyways, the Nationals are here for their final Florida game of the spring, the first of three straight games they're playing the Red Sox, with tomorrow's exhibition at Nationals Park and Saturday's exhibition in Annapolis still to come.

Because they're flying home tonight, the Nats brought the entire squad here. But not everybody will play. Daniel Murphy is back in the lineup after missing a couple of days with an illness, but Jayson Werth (toe) and Anthony Rendon (calf) are still ailing from hitting foul balls off themselves and are not starting today.

Joe Ross gets the ball, and this lines him up to be the No. 5 starter (though he'd actually start the sixth game of the season, with Stephen Strasburg making his second start first because of Tuesday's off-day). The young righty faces a good test against this potent Boston lineup ...
