Starting lineups: Red Sox vs. Nats in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Right-hander Joe Ross makes his second start of the spring today when the Nationals host the Red Sox in a 1:05 p.m. game that will be aired live on MASN.

You have to wonder who the Red Sox angered to draw three straight road games on the East Coast. Yesterday, they played at The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches against the Astros. Tomorrow, they head up the coast to Port St. Lucie to face the Mets. Three straight roadies across the state from their spring headquarters in Fort Myers seems excessive.

Still no sign of Matt Wieters behind the plate in a Grapefruit League game, though he is expected to make his debut sometime this week.

Ross allowed a single in two scoreless innings in his first spring start at Lakeland on March 1.

First baseman Ryan Zimmerman moves up to the five-hole today, with center fielder Adam Eaton hitting sixth.

Update: Catcher Spencer Kieboom, who was designated for assignment when the Nats signed Joe Blanton last week, has cleared waivers and been assigned outright to Triple-A Syracuse. He remains in camp as a non-roster invitee.
