Did the umps miss another one involving Jeter?

With runners on first and second and none out in the O's second inning, Adam Jones hit a grounder to first. Mark Teixeira fielded the ball and threw to Derek Jeter covering the bag at second. Replays showed that the ball quickly popped out of Jeter's glove, but an out was ruled by second base ump Paul Nauert. I guess he was ruling that the ball was coming out of the glove as Jeter was reaching in to get it. Didn't look that way to me. The O's still had a chance with runners on first and third and one down. But A.J. Burnett kept throwing breaking balls in the dirt and the O's chased them. He fanned Matt Wieters on a 2-2 pitch, then got Robert Andino to end the frame. An A-Rod homer gave NY a 1-0 lead in the second and someone hit a button that briefly set off fireworks. Now that is being too nice of a host. Kevin Millwood needed 34 pitches in the second, but somehow got out of a bases-loaded jam. Then he needed just seven pitches to get Granderson, Tex and A-Rod in the third. This is a strange game sometimes. NY leads 1-0 in the last of the third.
