Game 142 lineups: Phillies at Nats

The Nationals are still buzzing about the impact of Trea Turner on Friday night. Turner smacked a two-run homer in the seventh that looked like it would go through the left field stands 12 rows up, then connected on a dramatic walk-off homer to center field that bounced off the angled wall near the Bud Light Loft.

The Nats won 5-4 over the Phillies.

It was Turner's first career walk-off homer. He even allowed Anthony Rendon to measure up and dump a bucket of ice cold Gatorade on his head. Turner has eight homers in the majors this season, surpassing the six homers he hit in the minors prior to his promotion to the Nats.

Scherzer-Delivers-Red-Sidebar.jpgTanner Roark did not factor in the decision, but finished 3-0 with a 0.79 ERA against the Phillies in five starts this season.

Tonight, right-hander Max Scherzer (16-7, 2.88 ERA) gets the call. He has won four straight decisions. He is opposed by right-hander Jerad Eickhoff (10-13, 3.86 ERA). Scherzer leads the majors with 243 strikeouts. He is tied with the Cubs' Jake Arrieta with 16 wins.
