Minor league break camp rosters

The Orioles have set break camp rosters for each minor league affiliate. The final and official opening day rosters will be announced later next week. The four opening night starters will be Zach Clark for Triple-A Norfolk, Mike Wright at Double-A Bowie, Devin Jones at Single-A Frederick and Parker Bridwell for Single-A Delmarva. An earlier entry on this was deleted in a brilliant move by yours truly and is now being recreated so keep checking back for more. Cuban outfielder Henry Urrutia is not listed here and it appears he still has to finalize some paperwork before he can play in the regular season. It is possible that won't happen in time for him to be with a club for opening day. Of the 26 players listed on Norfolk's break camp roster, 22 have big league experience including 11 of the 13 listed pitchers. NORFOLK Pitchers: Jairo Asencio, Mike Belfiore, Zach Britton, Zach Clark, Manny Delcarmen, Rob Delaney, Freddy Garcia, Mark Hendrickson, Jair Jurrjens, Daniel McCutchen, Scott Proctor, Adam Russell, Daniel Schlereth Catchers: Luis Exposito, Chris Robinson Infielders: Russ Canzler, Travis Ishikawa, Yamaico Navarro, Niuman Romero, Jonathan Schoop, Danny Valencia Outfielders: Chris Dickerson, L.J Hoes, Conor Jackson, Jason Pridie, Trayvon Robinson Schoop, who makes his Triple-A debut, is expected to play some at both shortstop and second base with the Tides. Navarro will also play both spots and it could turn out to be about a 50-50 split. He could also play at first base or left field as he moves around and provides some versatility on defense. The Baysox have several players that can play multiple positions including Britton and Kelly also. Waring has been dealing with an oblique injury but the O's are hopeful he'll be fine by Thursday's opener. Avery and Hudson can both play in center for the Baysox. Hudson also may get some starts in left field.
