O's tie game on Sox pop flop (update....Ty un-ties it)

Clay Buchholz was shutting down the Orioles again. He led 1-0 with a man on first and two outs in the top of the sixth when Felix Pie hit a pop up on the right side of the infield. It should have been caught by second baseman Marco Scutaro, but he missed it amidst some Fenway Park wind and the O's tied the game, 1-1 on the unearned run. Adam Jones who was on first, fortunately, ran pretty hard around the bases and scored easily when the ball dropped into short right field. The O's had scored just one run vs. Buchholz in their last 27 innings before the run in the sixth. In his previous three starts vs. the O's, he was 3-0, 0.41. He shutout the O's on a complete-game five-hitter in Baltimore on June 4th. He should still have a 1-0 lead. He began tonight second in the league in ERA at 2.48 and first in batting average against with runners in scoring position at .173. He has allowed one earned run or less in 15 of his 26 starts and the Sox are 18-8 when he takes the mound. The pop flop also forced him to throw several more pitches in that inning. At 112, he could now be forced from the game. Meanwhile, Brad Bergesen has allowed four hits and one run on 79 pitches through five. Update: For the second night in a row, the O's broke up a tie game in the seventh at Boston. After Nick Markakis hit one off the Monster, Ty Wigginton hit a fly ball just inside the Pesky Pole in right for a three-run homer and 4-1 lead. Wigginton has now either won the game or given the O's the lead three straight games.
