Once on the outside looking in, Andino is back with the Birds

For a guy that was designated for assignment by the Orioles April 3rd, Robert Andino has had quite a season - still with the O's organization. Back in April, he cleared waivers and was out-righted to Triple-A. With Norfolk, the 26-year-old Andino hit .264-13-76 with 72 runs and 16 steals and he was batting .305 since the All-Star break. Now, he's gone from DFA'd and off the roster to back on the roster and the team, joining the club today as part of the September callups. "In this game anything can happen, you just go out there and play the game hard, and whatever's going to be, is going to be. "I got over it. It's nothing really to me. I'm here now. "I'm happy to be here. I will just do what I always do, come here and work hard and do my best. Don't try to do too much. Just work hard, put my work in and play hard." Andino returns to the Majors after a year where he hit .300 in 57 Triple-A games in July and August and he was second in the International League in hits and 6th in RBI. Was it difficult to go back to the minors and kind of start all over this year? "At first it was hard but I don't think about that no more. I'm here now, it was a long season. But it's cool. I thought it was a good season. You are always looking for something better, but I thought I did alright," Andino said.
