Orioles claim infielder/outfielder Joey Terdoslavich off waivers from Braves

The Orioles today announced that they have claimed infielder/outfielder Joey Terdoslavich (pronounced ter-doss-lah-vitch) off waivers from the Atlanta Braves. Terdoslavich, 27, batted .281/.391/.452 (41-146) with 11 doubles, one triple, four home runs, and 24 RBI in 42 games with Triple-A Gwinnett in 2015, including a .326/.431/.558 (14-43) slash line against left-handed pitching. Over 28 games with Atlanta last season, he hit .214/.254/.375. In 604 career minor league games, Terdoslavich has batted .280/.345/.451 with 156 doubles, 12 triples, 68 home runs, and 335 RBI. He has played in 92 career Major League games, hitting .221/.296/.324. Terdoslavich was originally selected by the Atlanta Braves in the sixth round of the 2010 First-Year Player Draft out of California State University, Long Beach. He is a graduate of Sarasota High School in Sarasota, FL and is the nephew of former Major League player Mike Greenwell. With this move, the Orioles' 40-man Major League roster is full.
