Orioles removing fan capacity restrictions (plus today's lineups)

The Orioles announced today that they'll no longer operate under crowd capacity restrictions at Camden Yards beginning June 1. The 25 percent limit is lifted.

Tickets for all remaining home games will go on sale at noon on Wednesday, May 26. The Orioles will offer a two-hour online presale to fans who subscribe to the free digital Insider Newsletter.

Social distancing will no longer be required between groups of ticket holders. Pod seating will continue to be available in select sections for fans wishing to distance from others.

The Orioles also specified that fans must adhere to the Gameday Health and Safety policies while at the ballpark, including the wearing of masks unless eating or drinking at their seats. The club will continue to utilize digital ticketing and keep the ballpark cashless.

The series with the Rays closes today with Ryan Mountcastle at first base and Trey Mancini as the designated hitter.

Mancini leads the majors with 38 RBIs. He also is batting .396 (21-for-53) with runners in scoring position.

Pat Valaika is the second baseman and Ryan McKenna is in right field.

In Dean Kremer's only career start against the Rays, he held them to one run over five innings and struck out six batters in the opening game of a Sept. 17 doubleheader. The Orioles lost 3-1.

Kremer has allowed six runs and struck out 11 batters this month in 16 innings. He's issued only three walks.

Former Orioles pitcher Rich Hill, the well-traveled left-hander, has a 4.26 ERA and 1.079 WHIP in eight starts. He's struck out 41 batters in 38 innings.

Hill has made 13 career appearances against the Orioles, but only three starts. He's registered a 1.27 ERA and 0.844 WHIP in 21 1/3 innings. No home runs.
