Orioles want to avoid being swept in Seattle (updated)

Caleb Joseph is behind the plate today as the Orioles try to avoid being swept in a four-game series in Seattle for the first time since June 2000.

Joseph is making his first start since May 30.

Starter Ubaldo Jimenez owns a career 3.47 ERA in 40 starts with Joseph catching and a 7.36 ERA in 19 starts with Matt Wieters behind the plate. However, Wieters caught his last two starts that resulted in victories over the Padres.

Chris Davis' home run last night was his 182nd with the Orioles, tying him with Ken Singleton for eighth all-time in franchise history. Davis has homered in four of the last seven games.
