Steve and Roch wrap it up in Orlando

It has been an eventful few days for the Orioles at the winter meetings. But all good things sometimes end and so these meetings in Orlando finished up today. The O's filled needs on the left side of their infield with Mark Reynolds and J.J. Hardy and also with the re-signing of Koji Uehara for the bullpen. They would still like to add some offense and still have an opening at first base. It looks like they have improved their team here in Orlando, but, per usual, the Red Sox got a lot better and the Yankees will come up with Cliff Lee or something to match that. It's been a busy few days here, hope you enjoyed all the blogging and videos and reader responses and that you keep them coming in the days ahead.
Steve Melewski and Roch Kubatko recap the O's movement at the 2010 Winter Meetings

Goodbye from Orlando, where we didn't see Mickey even once but I did get better acquainted with my cell phone and, like most reporters here, learned to walk the halls while looking down at a phone and never once ran anyone over. Next dispatch from me comes back from the homefront. Until then...

Good times with J.J.
