Wigginton: "I should be good to go tomorrow."

Ty Wigginton's right wrist is sore and he had it wrapped after tonight's game, but he said he feels certain he can play on Thursday afternoon vs. Seattle. Ty-Wigginton_Away-Offense-Tall.jpg "It got me on the wrist, little bit of swelling. I should be good to go tomorrow. "It hurt worse than getting hit by pitches but it's better now and I should be ready to go. There's a bruise, but we'll be good to go." Wigginton was sliding into second trying to break up a double play in the second inning when a throw from shortstop Josh Wilson hit him squarely on his wrist. He stayed in the game, but was removed for Julio Lugo in the eighth inning. He meant to have his arm up when he was sliding into second base. "Actually I was just throwing (my arm) it up there, hopefully that shortstop will maybe change his arm angle and throw it away. I was taught you throw them up there. Think I'll keep them lower next time." He could smile because tonight the O's got a win and the mood was brighter in the Orioles clubhouse. "You saw a lot of guys contributing. Adam Jones was on base all night and Miggy with a huge double. And Bergy, what can you say, should deserve all the credit for tonight's win." Wigginton went 1 for 4 tonight and is batting .280-10-20 and leads the team in homers and RBI.
