District 34 podcast: Wrapping up Cubs series and previewing West Coast trip

We've got a quick episode for you today, as the Nationals finish their three-game series with the Cubs. Byron and I recorded the fourth episode of District 34 leading up to Stephen Strasburg's first pitch at Nats Park.

He is the only undefeated starting pitcher left in Major League Baseball as he looks to improve his 10-0 record against the Cubs' Jason Hammel, who has never lost to the Nats.

After today's game, the Nationals will head out to the West Coast for a four-game series against the Padres and three games in Los Angeles against the Dodgers. Manager Dusty Baker referenced the mentality needed for a trip to the Coast, and we'll discuss what to look for from the Nats out west. We also talk about Strasburg's looming matchup against the Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw on Monday night.

We hope you were able to head out of the office a little early to catch the game today. Give this week's episode a listen while watching the game, and if you're stuck on your way home, it's a good appetizer for when you do join Bob, F.P. and Dan on the broadcast.

Hope you enjoy!
