Orioles lineup includes Henderson

MILWAUKEE – Gunnar Henderson has returned to the Orioles lineup tonight for the first time since Saturday.

Henderson was day-to-day with discomfort in his lower back.

Josh Lester is the designated hitter and Ryan O’Hearn gets the start at first base.

Ryan Mountcastle and Ramón Urías are on the bench.

Adam Frazier is leading off again.

O’Hearn is 7-for-18 with four doubles, a home run and four RBIs during a five-game hitting streak.

Austin Hays leads the Orioles with 18 multi-hit games.

Dean Kremer is 4-1 with a 2.55 ERA in his last six starts. He’s never faced the Brewers.

The Orioles trail the Rays by 5 ½ games in the American League East. The Yankees are 7 ½ back.

The 16 strikeouts last night by Orioles batters were the second-most this season.

Milwaukee right-hander Corbin Burnes has a 3.75 ERA and 1.177 WHIP in 12 starts. He’s recorded seven quality starts.

Frazier is 5-for-15 lifetime against Burnes.

Joey Wiemer delivered his first career walk-off hit last night in the 10th inning, and his second walk-off plate appearance.

The Brewers are 4-0 in extra innings. They moved back into first place last night in the National League Central.

Triple-A Norfolk’s game in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre was postponed again due to the poor air quality from wildfires in Canada.

The Royals come to Camden Yards for a weekend series and are listing left-hander Daniel Lynch, right-hander Brady Singer and TBA as their starters.

Tyler Wells is the assumed starter for the Orioles Friday night. A fifth starter is needed for Saturday, and Kyle Gibson is on turn for Sunday.
